TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last updated: 1 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to courses, training, digital content and related services supplied by ASTAÉ Training Academy (“ASTAÉ”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By purchasing or enrolling in a course, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
1. OUR COURSES
ASTAÉ Training Academy currently offers:
Online Acrylic Nail Course — digital, self-paced acrylic nail training delivered online.
Private 1-1 Acrylic Nail Training — in-person practical training delivered on agreed training dates.
Course descriptions, content, prices and inclusions are displayed on our website at the time of purchase.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, our acrylic courses focus on professional acrylic application, preparation, structure, shaping and finishing. Nail art and advanced design techniques are not included.
2. COURSE FEES & PAYMENT
The full course price will be displayed before purchase.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Where Klarna or another third-party payment provider is selected, you may also be subject to that provider's separate terms, eligibility requirements and payment arrangements.
Your obligations to a third-party finance or payment provider are separate from these Terms.
Failure to make payments due under a payment arrangement may result in action being taken by the relevant payment provider.
3. ONLINE COURSE ACCESS
Following successful purchase of the Online Acrylic Nail Course, students will receive access to the digital training through our online learning platform.
Course access is for the individual purchaser only.
Your account, login details, videos, training materials, manuals and other course content must not be shared with another person.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, online students receive lifetime access to the purchased course for as long as ASTAÉ Training Academy continues to operate and make that course available through its learning platform.
We may make reasonable changes to course content, lessons or the platform used to deliver the course.
4. ONLINE COURSE — CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Your online course is supplied as digital content with immediate access.
By requesting immediate access to the course, you expressly consent to the digital content being supplied before the end of the 14-day cancellation period and acknowledge that once supply of the digital content begins, you lose your statutory right to cancel the digital-content purchase.
Once course access has been provided, refunds will not be offered for change of mind, failure to complete the course, lack of use, or changes in personal circumstances.
This does not affect your statutory rights where the digital content is faulty, not as described, or where you otherwise have a legal right to a remedy.
5. PRIVATE 1-1 TRAINING
Purchase of private 1-1 training reserves your place for training to be arranged with ASTAÉ Training Academy.
Training dates must be agreed between the student and ASTAÉ Training Academy.
Students are responsible for ensuring they are available for their confirmed training dates.
Details regarding location, timings, preparation and anything the student needs to bring will be communicated before training.
6. 1-1 TRAINING — CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & RESCHEDULING
Where 1-1 training is purchased online, you may have a statutory 14-day cancellation period beginning from the date the contract is entered into, where applicable under UK consumer law.
To exercise this right, you must clearly inform ASTAÉ Training Academy that you wish to cancel before the cancellation period expires.
If you exercise a statutory right to cancel within the applicable cancellation period, any refund due will be provided in accordance with your statutory rights.
Once any applicable statutory cancellation period has expired, course fees are not automatically refundable where you choose to cancel your training.
Any amount refunded or retained by ASTAÉ Training Academy following cancellation will be determined reasonably, taking into account costs already incurred, preparation undertaken, the training time reserved for you, our ability to fill the cancelled place and any loss resulting from your cancellation.
Rescheduling: If you wish to change your confirmed training date, you must provide a minimum of 5 days' notice. Where at least 5 days' notice is provided, we will make reasonable efforts to transfer your booking to another available training date.
Where you cancel or request to reschedule within 5 days of your confirmed training date, ASTAÉ Training Academy may apply a cancellation charge up to the full course fee where this reasonably reflects the loss caused by the cancellation, including where the reserved training place cannot reasonably be filled.
If you fail to attend your confirmed training without notice, this may be treated as a cancellation and a cancellation charge of up to the full course fee may apply where this reasonably reflects the loss incurred.
If ASTAÉ Training Academy needs to reschedule your training, we will offer you an alternative available date. Where we are unable to provide the purchased training within a reasonable period and a suitable alternative cannot be agreed, you will be offered any remedy to which you are legally entitled.
7. LATENESS & NON-ATTENDANCE
Students should arrive at the agreed time for private training.
If you are late, we cannot guarantee that the training session can be extended beyond its scheduled finishing time.
If you fail to attend a confirmed training session without giving notice, we may treat this as a cancellation.
Any amount retained will be limited to a reasonable amount reflecting losses resulting from your non-attendance.
8. ASSESSMENTS
Where a course requires theory or practical assessments, students must successfully meet the applicable assessment criteria before certification.
Purchasing a course does not automatically guarantee that you will pass.
If an assessment does not meet the required standard, feedback may be provided and the student may be given an opportunity to resubmit in accordance with the applicable course assessment process.
Students must submit their own work.
Fraudulent submissions, plagiarism or submission of another person's work may result in assessment being refused and, where appropriate, course access being suspended.
9. CERTIFICATES & ACCREDITATION
Where a course is advertised as accredited, the relevant accreditation applicable to that course will be identified in the course description.
A certificate will only be issued where the student has completed the requirements necessary for certification.
ASTAÉ Training Academy does not guarantee employment, earnings, clients, business success or any particular financial outcome as a result of completing a course.
Students are responsible for checking any insurance, licensing, regulatory or other requirements applicable to working as a nail technician in their location.
10. COURSE MATERIAL & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All course materials supplied by ASTAÉ Training Academy — including videos, manuals, photographs, written materials, lesson content, assessment materials, graphics and other educational resources — remain the intellectual property of ASTAÉ Training Academy or the relevant rights holder.
Purchasing a course gives you a personal right to use the materials for your own learning.
You must not, without permission:
Copy or reproduce course materials for distribution
Record or redistribute course videos
Share your account or login information
Upload course content to social media or other websites
Sell, sublicense or distribute course materials
Use ASTAÉ course materials to create or supply your own training course
Provide another person with access to paid course content
Serious or repeated breaches may result in suspension or termination of course access and may lead to appropriate legal action.
11. STUDENT CONDUCT
Students attending in-person training must behave appropriately and respectfully.
We reserve the right to end a training session where a student's behaviour is threatening, abusive, discriminatory, dangerous or seriously disruptive.
Any financial consequences of termination will be determined fairly according to the circumstances and applicable law.
12. HEALTH, SAFETY & PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
Students must follow the health, safety, hygiene and professional practices taught during training.
Students are responsible for practising within their level of competence following qualification and for obtaining appropriate insurance where required.
ASTAÉ Training Academy is not responsible for losses caused by a student's failure to follow training, safety guidance or applicable professional requirements, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
13. COURSE RESULTS
Individual outcomes vary.
Completion of an ASTAÉ Training Academy course does not guarantee:
Employment
A particular income
A specific number of clients
Business success
Social-media growth
Any particular commercial result
Results depend on factors including practice, skill development, effort and individual circumstances.
14. OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill and provide digital content in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
If something we provide is faulty, not as described or a service has not been performed with reasonable care and skill, you may have statutory remedies.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
15. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
We may use third parties such as online learning, website-hosting and payment providers to provide our services.
Temporary interruptions caused by third-party platforms may occasionally occur.
Where a significant problem prevents us from providing a purchased service, we will take reasonable steps to restore access or provide an appropriate remedy.
16. CHANGES TO COURSES
We may make reasonable updates to course materials, lesson structures, platforms and educational content where doing so does not materially reduce what the student purchased.
If a significant change materially affects a student's purchased service, we will act reasonably and in accordance with applicable consumer law.
17. COMPLAINTS
If you experience a problem with a course or service, please contact ASTAÉ Training Academy so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve it.
Please include your name, course and details of your concern.
18. PRIVACY
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available separately on our website.
19. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom.
If you are a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of any mandatory protections or rights you have under applicable law.
